Myself...
I am a full stack
hack...
also a bassist... πΆπ΅.
I've been banging on a 4 string bass since high school,
one of about 6 I've ever owned, you know, back when you thought you were going to be the next
Geezer Butler
or Steve Harris,
ya... that didn't happen. One can dream right...?
These pages, are basically redirects to an old persona... a fitting one, but old, a story for another time.
So all my old band sites lead here, to my current band and it's schedule. We are just a cover band, having fun... no more no less.
After my trip around the sun, not much room left for fame and fortune at this point
(unless corrupt politician is your thing).
I essentially have the worst setup known to man... but makes my day so there is that.
I play a Spector NS-2 (the old Korean version) thin strings Super Slinky 100's... switched
to Mesa/Boogie gear recently (from Ampeg, which was a switch from SWR),
a Subway 2x10 600-watt 8-ohm cabinet with a Subway 1x15 400-watt 8-ohm cabinet. Powered
by a Subway D-800 Lightweight 800-watt head, I have 2 heads actually, I started the whole bi-amp
adventure, but for covers was pointless. So know I call it a back-up head.
Then there is the taboo of any bassist anywhere... pedals. I use the Radial ProDI yes on my board, a Tech 21 Killer Blue Wail bass wah,
Shure QLXD4 digital wireless, and a Tech 21 dUg Pinnick signature bass distortion pedal (but acts more like a preamp).
A Peterson StroboStomp HD pedal tuner, DigiTech Drop Polyphonic Drop-tune (which sounds like π«, but good in a pinch
for half/whole step shifts).
Oh ya... I see you cringing already...
